Faerie Chronicles Ch17Twenty-Second Day of the First Month, 11 A.D.  
 
 It has now been a month since I last veemed here, but it has been quite busy indeed. I am going to the River as I do this. It is a beautiful day – something that does not happen very often anymore. I feel compelled to go by the River bank and sit for a while. Kerrache is helping my people gather herbs for our tea, while Pareith is overseeing the planting of some new mistletoe that has decided to land itself in our oaks. It is winter and most everything is hibernating. I feel the life-forces of the trees buried deep within the earth waiting for that first day of spring when they Faerie Chronicles Ch17

Faerie Chronicles Ch 16Twenty-Second day of the Thirteenth month 10 A.D.  
 Although I always have the mental presence of my husband with me at all times, I still was quite relieved when I saw his face smiling brilliantly at me as I flew in for home today. I kissed him passionately absorbing every bit of joy and happiness I could from the feel of his lips. I could feel his essence embracing mine with our love surrounding them.  
 “ Mai, I trust your visit to Troningal was informative. You feel different. What has happened,” my husband asked with great ardor in his voice and curiosity on his lips.

I'm not dead, YAY!

I have graduated from UWG in 2005 and I now have a job at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. I am an Accelerator Specialist and I run a neutron producing machine at the Spallation Neutron Source. I live in Knoxville, TN.

My book has undergone some revisions and I will be posting the new version soon. I had my first book publishing rejection a few weeks ago from Baen Books. I feel encouraged to submit my work to other fantasy book publishers.

I am settling in my life quite nicely and I am finally starting to get back into what I love to do most - writing and reading!!

I have missed you all tremendously and I cannot wait to see the works that you have created!

Ok this is it, we are actualy going to do something! Can you feel the tingle of excitement? I know I can. I Have decided what our mega dev is gonna be. Since we have so much of it and spend so much itm e on in, how about doing a megadev on our wonderfull infrastructure.

Every one can enter, be it a sketch of your mate on the train, a photo of your local highway you like or a story involving a journey thorugh ireland. Only a few easy rules to follow, common sense really, must contain no pornography, and involve both themes of infrastructure and ireland. All deviations must be new.

The closing date for this MegaDev is January 31st

All question can be directed to me please and when you hav your dev done don't upload it, note me and i will give you an email to send it to so i can assmeble all yuour deviations into a megadev for all to see. If we do this it will be our first megadev, lets hope it works out I can't do this without you guys. Remember this will help to expose you and your work so it can't be a bad thing ^__^

lol, THanks for the comment on my story, The Window. :) I really appreciate you taking the time to read and comment on it.

Yeah... I wish I had had someone to sit down and sort of talk me through some stuff, too, lol. It would have made starting out a little easier, knowing that I had someone to go to for questions and such. But I don't think I would change a thing about how I first came into Paganism - I just stumbled upon it, and had to do everything from scratch, which was exciting for me. :) I created that story because I felt that sometimes, you accidentally come across something different that was already there all along.

I've just been reading your Faerie Chronicles and I've really been enjoying them. I love the simplistic chatty style. There are a couple of occassions where you've missed a word or something but heck, that happens to me all the time too. The main thing is that the core of the tale is there and engages you.

Keep writing, I can't wait to read more.
